Description
Human EGFR-coupled Magnetic Beads | MBE-K012-10mg| Gentaur Distribution US, UK & Europe
The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR; ErbB-1; HER1 in humans) is the cell-surface receptor for members of the epidermal growth factor family (EGF-family) of extracellular protein ligands. The epidermal growth factor receptor is a member of the ErbB family of receptors, a subfamily of four closely related receptor tyrosine kinases: EGFR (ErbB-1), HER2/c-neu (ErbB-2), Her 3 (ErbB-3) and Her 4 (ErbB-4) . Mutations affecting EGFR expression or activity could result in cancer.
Source: Human EGFR protein is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293) . It contains AA Leu 25 - Ser 645 (Accession # P00533-1) .
Molecule: EGF R.
Format: Powder.
Species: Human.
Application: This product is intended for immunocapture, biopanning and flow cytometry. This product is produced non-sterile.
Kit Component: Antibody Purification: 1. Resuspend the lyophilized beads by adding the buffer of choice. 2. Add analyte to the suspension, mix and incubate to enable specific binding of the beads and the target protein. 3. Magnetize beads, remove supernatant, and wash unbound protein fractions to capture target protein-bound beads. 4. Wash, magnetize the beads and collect purified target protein for use in downstream applications.
Stability: Upon receipt, please store the Beads at -20°C. The shelf life is 1 year at -20 °C. Please avoid more than 3 freeze-thaw cycles. Immediate use after reconstitution is highly recommended.
