Description: Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 44 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the USP44 gene. It is mapped to 12q22. The protein encoded by this gene is a protease that functions as a deubiquitinating enzyme. The encoded protein is thought to help regulate the spindle assembly checkpoint by preventing early anaphase onset. This protein specifically deubiquitinates CDC20, which stabilizes the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome.
Immunogen: Recombinant human protein (amino acids R211-S712) was used as the immunogen for the USP44 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the USP44 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
