Description
UMNSAH/DF-1 Cell Line | CL-0279 | Gentaur US, UK & Europe Disrtribition
Media: CM-0279
Organism: Gallus gallus, Chicken
Application: The cells are useful as substrates for virus propagation, recombinant protein expression and recombinant virus production.
Background: Foci of non-senescent cells were identified and grown for greater than 30 passages. No clonal proliferation was observed in soft agar cultures, indicating that these cells were immortalized but not transformed.
Age: 10 days gestation
Tissue: Embryo
Morphology: Fibroblast
Growth Properties: Adherent
Doubling Time: N/A
Biosafty: 1
Medium: DMEM(PM150210)+10% FBS+1% P/S(PB180120)
Subculturing: Remove and discard culture medium. Briefly rinse the cell layer with DPBS solution to remove all traces of serum that contains trypsin inhibitor. Add 1.0 to 2.0 mL of Trypsin-EDTA solution to flask and observe cells under an inverted microscope until cell layer is dispersed (usually within 2 to 3 minutes). Cells that are difficult to detach may be placed at 37°C to facilitate dispersal. Add 4.0 to 6.0 mL of complete growth medium and aspirate cells by gently pipetting. Add appropriate aliquots of the cell suspension to new culture vessels.
Ratio: 1:2 to 1:4
Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Cryopreservation: Freeze medium: 60% Basal medium+30% FBS+10% DMSO Storage temperature: Liquid nitrogen vapor phase
Culture Conditions: Atmosphere: Air, 95%; CO2, 5% Temperature: 39℃(Max.40℃, Min.38℃)
Effects: No, in immunosuppressed mice; No, in semisolid medium.
Duration: N/A
Lead Time: 3-5 days
