Description: Tudor domain-containing protein 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TDRD3 gene. This gene is mapped to 13q21.2. It contains a Tudor domain and UBA protein domain and has three distinct protein isoforms. TDRD3 is a multifunctional protein that acts as a transcriptional coactivator in the nucleus and as a scaffolding protein in cytoplasmic stress granules.
