Description: Serine/threonine-protein kinase TANK-binding kinase 1 or NF-kappa-B-activating kinase is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the TBK1 gene. The gene was assigned to human chromosome 12q14.2. Serine/threonine kinases plays an essential role in regulating inflammatory responses to foreign agents. TBK1 and NF-kappa-B signaling are essential in KRAS mutant tumors, and established a general approach for the rational identification of codependent pathways in cancer.
Immunogen: An amino acid sequence from the C-terminus of human TANK-binding kinase 1 (YNEEQIHKFDKQKL) was used as the immunogen for this TBK1 antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
Storage: After reconstitution, the TBK1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
