Description: Transforming acidic coiled-coil-containing protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TACC1 gene. This locus may represent a breast cancer candidate gene. It is located close to FGFR1 on a region of chromosome 8 that is amplified in some breast cancers. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Amino acids 196-235 (MTEGSMGVTLEASAEADLKAGNSCPELVPSRRSKLRKPKP-human) were used as the immunogen for the TACC1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the TACC1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
