Description: Specialized low-affinity vasopressin-regulated urea transporter. Mediates rapid transepithelial urea transport across the inner medullary collecting duct and plays a major role in the urinary concentrating mechanism.
Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 42-76 from the N-terminal region of the the human protein was used as the immunogen for the SLC14A2 antibody.
