Description

SARS-CoV-2 (Delta) Spike RBD-coupled Magnetic Beads | MBS-K037-10mg| Gentaur Distribution US, UK & Europe

It's been reported that coronavirus can infect the human respiratory epithelial cells through interaction with the human ACE2 receptor. The spike protein is a large type I transmembrane protein containing two subunits, S1 and S2. S1 mainly contains a receptor binding domain (RBD), which is responsible for recognizing the cell surface receptor. S2 contains basic elements needed for the membrane fusion. The S protein plays key parts in the induction of neutralizing-antibody and T-cell responses, as well as protective immunity.

Source: SARS-CoV-2 (Delta) Spike RBD Protein is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293) . It contains AA Arg 319 - Lys 537 (Accession # QHD43416.1 (L452R, T478K) ) .

Molecule: Spike RBD.

Format: Powder.

Species: SARS-CoV-2.

Application: This product is intended for immunocapture, biopanning and flow cytometry. This is a non-sterile product.

Kit Component: Antibody Purification: 1. Resuspend the lyophilized beads by adding the buffer of choice. 2. Add analyte to the suspension, mix and incubate to enable specific binding of the beads and the target protein. 3. Magnetize beads, remove supernatant, and wash unbound protein fractions to capture target protein-bound beads. 4. Wash, magnetize the beads and collect purified target protein for use in downstream applications.

Stability: Upon receipt,  please store the beads at -20°C for 6 months in lyophilized state. Please avoid more than 3 freeze-thaw cycles. Immediate use after reconstitution is highly recommended.

Storage Conditions: -20℃, aviod light.

Shipping Conditions: RT
