Description: Ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha-2, also called RSK3, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA2 gene. It is mapped to 6q27. This gene encodes a member of the RSK (ribosomal S6 kinase) family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains two non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Alternative splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Immunogen: Amino acids H658-L733 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the RSK3 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the RSK3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
