Description: Ran GTPase-activating protein 1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RANGAP1 gene. This gene encodes a protein that associates with the nuclear pore complex and participates in the regulation of nuclear transport. The encoded protein interacts with Ras-related nuclear protein 1 (RAN) and regulates guanosine triphosphate (GTP)-binding and exchange. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Immunogen: Recombinant human protein (amino acids A165-V587) was used as the immunogen for the Ran GTPase-activating protein 1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the Ran GTPase-activating protein 1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
