Description: Parathyroid hormone/parathyroid hormone-related peptide receptor is a receptor for parathyroid hormone and for parathyroid hormone-related peptide. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase and also a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 52-86 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the PTH1R antibody.
