Description: This PTCRA gene is mapped to 6p21.1. Pre T-cell antigen receptor alpha is a single-pass type I membrane protein that is found in immmature but not mature T-cells. Along with TCRB and CD3 complex, the encoded protein forms the pre-T-cell receptor complex, which regulates early T-cell development. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Amino acids T24-T143 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the PTCRA antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the PTCRA antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
