Description: 2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the OAS3 gene. It is mapped to 12q24.13. This gene encodes an enzyme included in the 2', 5' oligoadenylate synthase family. This enzyme is induced by interferons and catalyzes the 2', 5' oligomers of adenosine in order to bind and activate RNase L. This enzyme family plays a significant role in the inhibition of cellular protein synthesis and viral infection resistance.
Immunogen: Recombinant human protein (amino acids N990-V1087) was used as the immunogen for the OAS3 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the OAS3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
