Description: Nucleolin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NCL gene. It is mapped to 2q37.1. Nucleolin (NCL), a eukaryotic nucleolar phosphoprotein, is involved in the synthesis and maturation of ribosomes. It is located mainly in dense fibrillar regions of the nucleolus. Human NCL gene consists of 14 exons with 13 introns and spans approximately 11kb. The intron 11 of the NCL gene encodes a small nucleolar RNA, termed U20.
Immunogen: A human recombinant protein (amino acids K219-A629) was used as the immunogen for the Nucleolin antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the Nucleolin antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
