Description: Neuronal PAS domain-containing protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NPAS2 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH)-PAS family of transcription factors. A similar mouse protein may play a regulatory role in the acquisition of specific types of memory. It also may function as a part of a molecular clock operative in the mammalian forebrain.
Immunogen: A recombinant human protein corresponding to amino acids D474-Q578 was used as the immunogen for the NPAS2 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the NPAS2 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
