Description: NLR family CARD domain-containing protein 4, also known as CARD12, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NLRC4 gene. It is mapped to 2p22.3. This gene encodes a member of the caspase recruitment domain-containing NLR family. Family members play essential roles in innate immune response to a wide range of pathogenic organisms, tissue damage and other cellular stresses. Mutations in this gene result in autoinflammation with infantile enterocolitis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Immunogen: Amino acids KILAQNLHNLVKLSILDLSENYLEKDGNEALHELIDR of human NLRC4/CARD12 were used as the immunogen for the NLRC4 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the NLRC4 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
