Background: ITK (IL-2-inducible T cell kinase), is a cytosolic tyrosine kinase expressed in T cells. ITK contains two protein binding domains, SH2 and SH3, which allows the kinase to be recruited by tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins, notably upon activation of the T Cell Receptor (TCR). It plays an important role in TCR signal transduction pathways and ultimately leads to the activation of the transcription factor NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cells), cytokine secretion, and T cell differentiation and expansion.

Description: The Mouse ITK Kinase Assay Kit is designed to measure recombinant murine ITK kinase activity for screening and profiling applications using ADP-Glo® as a detection reagent.
