Description: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MIB1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MIB1 gene. It is mapped to 18q11.2. This gene encodes a protein containing multiple ankyrin repeats and RING finger domains that functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase. The encoded protein positively regulates Notch signaling by ubiquitinating the Notch receptors, thereby facilitating their endocytosis. This protein may also promote the ubiquitination and degradation of death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1).
Immunogen: Amino acids H465-E732 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the Mib1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the Mib1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
