Description: tRNA (guanine-N(7)-)-methyltransferase is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the METTL1 gene. This gene is similar in sequence to the S. cerevisiae YDL201w gene. The gene product contains a conserved S-adenosylmethionine-binding motif and is inactivated by phosphorylation. Alternative splice variants encoding different protein isoforms have been described for this gene. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome X.
Immunogen: A human recombinant partial protein (amino acids A2-H276) was used as the immunogen for the METTL1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the METTL1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
