Description: Menin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MEN1 gene. It is mapped to 11q13.1. This gene encodes menin, a tumor suppressor associated with a syndrome known as multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1. Menin is a scaffold protein that functions in histone modification and epigenetic gene regulation. It is thought to regulate several pathways and processes by altering chromatin structure through the modification of histones.
Immunogen: Recombinant human protein (amino acids M1-L615) was used as the immunogen for the Menin antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the Menin antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
