Description: Map2k1 / Mek1 catalyzes the concomitant phosphorylation of a threonine and a tyrosine residue in a Thr-Glu-Tyr sequence located in MAP kinases. Activates ERK1 and ERK2 MAP kinases.
Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 269-296 from the mouse protein was used as the immunogen for the MEK1 antibody.
