Description: The protein encoded by this gene is a keratan sulfate proteoglycan that is involved in corneal transparency. Defects in this gene are a cause of autosomal recessive cornea plana 2 (CNA2).

Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 228-257 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the Keratocan antibody.

Storage: Aliquot the Keratocan antibody and store frozen at -20 °C or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
