Description

Human Nucleolin / NCL Protein, Mouse IgG2a Fc Tag | NUL-H5254-1mg| Gentaur Distribution US, UK & Europe

Nucleolin is the major nucleolar protein of growing eukaryotic cells. It is found associated with intranucleolar chromatin and pre-ribosomal particles. It induces chromatin decondensation by binding to histone H1. It is thought to play a role in pre-rRNA transcription and ribosome assembly. May play a role in the process of transcriptional elongation. Binds RNA oligonucleotides with 5'-UUAGGG-3' repeats more tightly than the telomeric single-stranded DNA 5'-TTAGGG-3' repeats.

Source: Human Nucleolin, Mouse IgG2a Fc Tag (NUL-H5254) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Val 2 - Glu 710 (Accession # P19338-1).

Format: Powder.

Tag: C-mFc (mIgG2a).

Expression System: HEK293.

Expression Region: Val 2 - Glu 710.

Conjugate: Unconjugated.

Molecular Weight: 103.5 kDa.

Characteristics: This protein carries a mouse IgG2a Fc tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 103.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 130-150 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
