Description
Human FGF-4 Protein, His Tag | FG4-H51H3-1mg| Gentaur Distribution US, UK & Europe
Fibroblast growth factor-4 (FGF4) is expressed in embryonic stages and in adult tissues, where it plays critical roles in modulating multiple cellular functions. Fibroblast growth factor 4 (FGF4) is a multipotent growth factor and is highly expressed in various human cancers. In lung adenocarcinoma (ADC) cell lines, FGF4 could alter cell morphology, promote epithelial-mesenchymal transition-associated protein expression, and enhance cell proliferation, migration/invasion and colony initiation. In B-cell lymphoma, FGF4 secretion by cancer cells induces Jag1 expression in neighbor Endothelial cell that in turn activates Notch2 in lymphoma cells.
