Description: Protein Hook homolog 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HOOK3 gene. Hook proteins are cytosolic coiled-coil proteins that contain conserved N-terminal domains, which attach to microtubules, and more divergent C-terminal domains, which mediate binding to organelles. The Drosophila Hook protein is a component of the endocytic compartment.
Immunogen: Amino acids E14-R198 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the HOOK3 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the HOOK3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
