Description: Hexosaminidase B is responsible for the degradation of GM2 gangliosides, and a variety of other molecules containing terminal N-acetyl hexosamines, in the brain and other tissues.
Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 170-203 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the HEXB antibody.
