Description: Potassium/sodium hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 1, also known as HAC-2 or BCNG-1, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HCN1 gene. It is mapped to 5p12. The membrane protein encoded by this gene is a hyperpolarization-activated cation channel that contributes to the native pacemaker currents in heart and neurons. HCN1 can homodimerize or heterodimerize with other pore-forming subunits to form a potassium channel. This channel may act as a receptor for sour tastes.
Immunogen: Human partial recombinant protein (AA 618-890) was used as the immunogen for this HCN1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the HCN1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
