Description: GRP94 (94 kDa glucose-regulated protein), also called Endoplasmin, is a chaperone protein that in humans is encoded by the HSP90B1 gene. This gene encodes a member of a family of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-metabolizing molecular chaperones with roles in stabilizing and folding other proteins. The encoded protein is localized to melanosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum. Expression of this protein is associated with a variety of pathogenic states, including tumor formation.
Immunogen: Amino acids 43-221 of human GRP94 were used as the immunogen for the GRP94 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the GRP94 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
