Description: GRB2-associated-binding protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GAB1 gene. It is mapped to 4q31.21. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the IRS1-like multisubstrate docking protein family. It is an important mediator of branching tubulogenesis and plays a central role in cellular growth response, transformation and apoptosis. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Amino acids 72-109 (LTFNKKEFENSYIFDINTIDRIFYLVADSEEEMNKWVR-human) were used as the immunogen for the GAB1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the GAB1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
