Description: The FOXN1 gene encodes a transcription factor that regulates the development of epithelial cells in the thymus and skin. FOXN1 is expressed in thymic epithelial cell precursors which interact with T-cell progenitors for T-cell development in the thymus, and thus plays an essential role in thymic development beginning in the embryo. FOXN1 is also expressed in keratinocytes, hair follicles, epithelial cells in the nail matrix bed, and cells of the choroid plexus.
Immunogen: Amino acids SHAPFHPYKRPFHED were used as the immunogen for the FOXN1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the FOXN1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
