Description: Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ESM1 gene. This gene encodes a secreted protein which is mainly expressed in the endothelial cells in human lung and kidney tissues. The expression of this gene is regulated by cytokines, suggesting that it may play a role in endothelium-dependent pathological disorders. The transcript contains multiple polyadenylation and mRNA instability signals. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Human ESM1 recombinant protein (amino acids W20-R184) was used as the immunogen for the ESM1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the ESM1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
