Description: E2F-associated phosphoprotein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EAPP gene. It is mapped to 14q13.1. This gene encodes a phosphoprotein that interacts with several members of the E2F family of proteins. The protein localizes to the nucleus, and is present throughout the cell cycle except during mitosis. It functions to modulate E2F-regulated transcription and stimulate proliferation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Immunogen: Recombinant human protein (amino acids M1-S285) was used as the immunogen for the EAPP antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the EAPP antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
