Description: Dermatopontin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the DPT gene. Dermatopontin is an extracellular matrix protein with possible functions in cell-matrix interactions and matrix assembly. The protein is found in various tissues and many of its tyrosine residues are sulphated. Dermatopontin is postulated to modify the behavior of TGF-beta through interaction with decorin.
Immunogen: Human recombinant protein (amino acids Q19-V201) was used as the immunogen for the Dermatopontin antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the Dermatopontin antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
