Description: CYLD is localized on the long arm of chromosome 16. This gene encodes a cytoplasmic protein with three cytoskeletal-associated protein-glycine-conserved (CAP-GLY) domains that functions as a deubiquitinating enzyme. Mutations in this gene have been associated with cylindromatosis, multiple familial trichoepithelioma, and Brooke-Spiegler syndrome. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Immunogen: Amino acids 618-956 of human CYLD were used as the immunogen for the CYLD antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the CYLD antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
