Description: COTL1 is one of the numerous actin-binding proteins which regulate the actin cytoskeleton. This protein binds F-actin, and also interacts with 5-lipoxygenase, which is the first committed enzyme in leukotriene biosynthesis.
Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 115-142 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the COTL1 antibody.
Storage: Aliquot the COTL1 antibody and store frozen at -20 °C or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
