Background: Chicken follicle basement membrane cells were isolated from chicken follicle tissue. Mature follicle is one of the structural components of the ovary. The follicle cavity is large and the cumulus is obvious. The inner membrane cells of the follicle are close to the granular layer of the follicle, and a basement membrane is separated from the granular layer cells. The endometrial cells are polygonal, with clear cytoplasm, round nuclei, and many capillaries between the cells. Adventitia cells are located in the outermost layer, mostly in the shape of a fusiform, and are not clearly separated from the surrounding connective tissue. The oocyte in the follicle is surrounded by a layer of diamond-shaped or flat cells. As the follicle begins to develop and the egg cell grows, the surrounding rhomboid cells become cubes and multiply from a single layer to multiple layers. Because the cytoplasm contains granules, they are called granular cells. The granulosa cells of primary follicles are monolayer, the granulosa cells of secondary follicles increase to multiple layers, and the granulosa cells of mature follicles unfold and become monolayers. The nucleus of the granular cell is large and round, with deep coloration, and the free surface of the cell has many slender protrusions extending into the depression of the radial zone. The chicken follicle basement membrane cells produced by our company are prepared by mechanical separation followed by repeated collagenase digestion method, and are cultured and screened through special medium. The total number of cells is about 5×10^5 cells/vial. The cell purity is more than 90% without HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi, etc.
