Description: CD72 (Cluster of Differentiation 72), also known in murine biology as Lyb-2, is a protein active in the immune systemof animals. This gene is mapped to 9p13.3. It consists of two identical halves, each of about 39-43 kD, and is a C-type lectin. Its primarily locus of expression is B-cells, where it appears to mediate aspects of B-cell - T-cell interaction. It is a ligand for CD5.
Immunogen: Amino acids R117-D359 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the CD72 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the CD72 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
