Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), Standard Grade | 36101ES76 | Gentaur Distribution US, UK & Europe
Bovine Serum Albumin, known in English as the Bovine serum albumin, also known as the Bovine albumin, or Cohn Fraction V, referred to as BSA. Bsas have a wide range of laboratory applications, often used as blocking agents in immune experiments, including ELISA and Western Blot (Western Blot) . As carrier proteins, cross-linking them to haptens and other weak antigens can make them more immunogenic in antibody production. BSA is often used as a reaction stabilizer for some enzymes in restriction enzyme digestion reactions and prevents adhesion to tube walls and gun heads. Bsas are also commonly used in biopharmaceutical processes or as nutrients in cell and microbial cultures. In addition, it is also used as a standard for protein quantitative detection. The BSA products we provide are prepared by Heat Shock method using high quality bovine plasma.
