Description

Biotinylated Human CD133 Protein, His, Avitag™ (Nanodisc) | CD3-H82E6-20ug| Gentaur Distribution US, UK & Europe

Prominin-1 is also known as CD133, Antigen AC133, PROM1, PROML1 and MSTP061. Is used as marker for hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPC) for somatic stem cell isolation. May play a role in cell differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis . Binds cholesterol in cholesterol-containing plasma membrane microdomains and may play a role in the organization of the apical plasma membrane in epithelial cells. During early retinal development acts as a key regulator of disk morphogenesis. Involved in regulation of MAPK and Akt signaling pathways. In neuroblastoma cells suppresses cell differentiation such as neurite outgrowth in a RET-dependent manner.

Source: Biotinylated Human CD133, His, Avitag (Nanodisc) (CD3-H82E6) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Gly 20 - His 865 (Accession # O43490-1).

Format: Liquid.

Tag: C-10×His & C-Avi.

Expression System: HEK293.

Expression Region: Gly 20 - His 865.

Conjugate: Biotin-labeled.

Molecular Weight: 98.9 kDa.

Characteristics: This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™). The protein has a calculated MW of 98.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 90-110 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation. The membrane scaffold protein (MSP1D1) has calculated MW of 24.7 kDa, and it migrates as 25 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).
