Description: C-X-C motif chemokine 13 (CXCL13), also known as B cell-attracting chemokine 1 (BCA-1), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CXCL13 gene. CXCL13 is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. Its gene is mapped to human chromosome 4 in a cluster of other CXC chemokines. This protein has contained 109 amino acids. It is expressed highly in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes and gut of humans. The protein induces chemotaxis of BLR1-expressing B cells.
Immunogen: Amino acids I22-A109 were used as the immunogen for the BCA1 antibody.
Storage: Prior to reconstitution, store at 4oC. After reconstitution, the BCA1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
