Description: Sperm-associated antigen 5, also called Astrin and Deepest, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SPAG5 gene. This gene encodes a protein associated with the mitotic spindle apparatus. The encoded protein may be involved in the functional and dynamic regulation of mitotic spindles.

Immunogen: Recombinant human protein (amino acids E738-S1193) was used at the immunogen for the Astrin antibody.

Storage: After reconstitution, the Astrin antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
