Description: Actin filament-associated protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AFAP1 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a Src binding partner. It may represent a potential modulator of actin filament integrity in response to cellular signals, and may function as an adaptor protein by linking Src family members and/or other signaling proteins to actin filaments. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: A human recombinant partial protein (amino acids A498-T730) was used as the immunogen for the AFAP1 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the AFAP1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
