Description: ADAMTS13 (A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with athrombospondin type 1 motif, member 13), also known as VWFCP, is a zinc-containing metalloprotease enzyme that cleaves von Willebrand factor (vWf), a large protein involved in blood clotting. It is secreted in blood and degrades large vWf multimers, decreasing their activity. This gene encodes a member of a family of proteins containing several distinct regions, including a metalloproteinase domain, a disintegrin-like domain, and a thrombospondin type 1 (TS) motif. This gene is mapped to 9q34.
Immunogen: Amino acids A299-R488 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the ADAMTS13 antibody.
Storage: After reconstitution, the ADAMTS13 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
